Earnhardt Races with Heavy Heart

Loudon, NH – The week leading up to New Hampshire’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race was an emotional one for 4th generation driver Jeffrey Earnhardt.  At the conclusion of last weeks Atlanta race Jeffrey received word that his beloved Mawmaw had passed peacefully after viewing his race on TV.  “She loved watching me race and always listened in on the radio” commented Jeffrey.  “In Atlanta I received word that she passed after our race and it hit me hard.  I grew up on her lap and she was very special to me.  When I got to the track today my team surprised me with a tribute to her on the hood of our car.  It was really emotional for me and I can’t thank them enough.”

Jeffrey finished p26 on the New England flat track and now prepares for road course action at Watkins Glen on August 7th.
