2020 Closer at Phoenix Will See Earnhardt in Contec Blue

Phoenix, AZ – Jeffrey Earnhardt takes to the track for one last time during this unique 2020 NASCAR Xfinity Series season.  What started out as a plan to race a select number of competitions transitioned into running the remainder of the season after missing the initial 4 races of 2020 with JD Motorsports with Gary Keller.  “This season was a great opportunity to work with Johnny and his team again and demonstrate some blue collar grit” said Earnhardt.  “We didn’t necessarily have a big plan or a lot of funding but with hard work and skilled execution we had some really good runs this season.  I’m so proud of everyone involved because it takes a lot to compete at this level and when you add COVID to the equation it was 5x harder.”

Jeffrey will be racing the blue Contec Zero Chevrolet today and it’s an appropriate finish to a year impacted by the corona virus.  “We’ve had great sponsor partners this season” commented Jeffrey.  “Having Contec onboard had been outstanding.  They’re great people and they’re leading the way in our frontline efforts to combat this virus.  I’m fortunate to have their support and we look forward to giving them a great run today.”

The green flag waives at 5pm EST and will be televised on NBCSN.
