Headed To Daytona

28 June 2013 – Daytona, FL. Jeffrey Earnhardt is headed down to Daytona International Speedway to race in the NASCAR Nationwide Series Subway Firecracker 250 Powered By Coca-Cola on Friday, July 5th. He’ll be driving the #79 Tobacco Free Florida – Wendy’s Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption Ford Mustang and has some added excitement for this race. “We’re always pumped to race Daytona and this race is extra special because we’re bringing some VIP guests” said Earnhardt.

“The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption works hard to find families for children so we decided to meet the kids at the Florida United Methodist Childrens Home before the race and let them check out the car, sign some stuff for them and have a group join us as guests on race day. I think 45 kids will be with us at the track so we’re looking forward to a fun time.”

The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption was established by Wendy’s founder Dave Thomas to help every child in foster care find a loving and permanent family.

“Working with the foundation is very satisfying. Bringing smiles to these kids and raising awareness to their need for a caring family is something I really enjoy and I look forward to spreading the message and racing for the kids.”
