Earnhardt Looks Forward to Kentucky Double Header

Gaffney, SC – Jeffrey Earnhardt continues the climb with JD Motorsports with Gary Keller in what has the makings for a great Cinderella story.  Driver & team put together a several-race deal to have Earnhardt compete in the 2020 NASCAR Xfinity Series and with an “all hands on deck” effort the group arranged for Earnhardt to compete the entire season.  “This partnership with Johnny and his folks has felt right from the get go” said an energized Earnhardt.  “I’ve experienced highs & lows since competing in the top 3 series and to have Johnny get in my corner the way he has, I just want to do everything I can to benefit the team.  We’ve had 5 top 20’s and 3 of them have been top 15 or better so with proper funding and perseverance I see the remainder of the season as an opportunity to improve.”

Earnhardt and team are headed to Kentucky for some weeknight racing under the lights.  Earnhardt returns to the number ZERO and he’s excited to compete in back to back race days.  “Racing the same track two days in a row is an excellent opportunity to dial in your car when you’re a small team” said Earnhardt.  “Especially under the new Covid protocols.  We look forward to demonstrating better competitiveness and moving up to the top 10’s and beyond.  I know our guys are up to the challenge and we’re gonna give our sponsors a reason to grow their program with JDM and hopefully bring some new partners onboard so we can continue to enhance the program.”

NASCAR heads to Kentucky Speedway this Thursday for night one of the doubleheader and will be televised on FS1 beginning at 7:30PM ET.
