Earnhardt Gains 19 Positions At Mid-Ohio

17 August 2013 – Lexington Ohio: Jeffrey Earnhardt started close to the back of the pack during Saturday’s NASCAR Nationwide Children’s Hospital 200 in his #79 Uponor-Wendy’s Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption Ford Mustang but rough racing, spins and a late penalty didn’t prevent him from advancing to a top 20 finish. Moving from a green flag spot of 37 to running as high as 7th with just a few laps remaining demonstrated Earnhardts skills in road course racing.

“I really enjoy the road courses and today the team was firing on all cylinders” said Jeffrey. “We’re out here against a lot of large budget teams so you really have to fight for every spot. We were shooting for a top 10 but the late penalty put us back to the rear and then I had to battle back to get into the top 20. I’m really proud of the guys at Go Green and was glad we were able to compete the way we did today.”
