May 8, 2023 Mooresville, NC – NASCAR enters throwback weekend at Darlington with tremendous fanfare that includes a tribute to the iconic paint schemes of yesteryear and exciting on track action. Jeffrey Earnhardt has his legacy figure in Dale Earnhardt that always gets the fans energized.
The 4th generation driver will be honoring his grandfathers 1997 Wheaties car with an incredible design featuring partners BZ MART, ForeverLawn and GASPOS. Earnhardt heads to the “Lady in Black” with a new number and a fresh perspective on the 2023 season. “This season got off to a rough start so we all sat down to discuss what needed to improve and come up with a plan to execute the change” stated Earnhardt. “Everyone of us from the sponsors to the team and my group made calls that we think put us in a position to right the ship. We had issues that could have been avoided and some that were misfortune but this is not an excuse or explanation sport. Results are what matter and we are going to demonstrate that we have what it takes. We changed the car number for points purposes but also to do a complete reboot on the season. I’m pumped to drive this car and give Earnhardt fans a super cool hot rod to cheer for.”
The Shriners Children’s 200 green flag drops at 1:30 PM on May 13th and will be televised on FOX.
