Race Season Fast Approaching

January 24, 2014 – Salisbury, NC. The sun was shining and the #4 Warrior50.org Chevrolet was shadowed by a green bird in front of VFW Post 3006. It was the first of many visits Jeffrey will be making to Veterans organizations during the 2014 season. “I always enjoy working with sponsors and meeting fans at their events but this is pretty special” said Jeffrey. “These veterans have served our country with great personal sacrifice and hearing their stories puts life in perspective. They didn’t get the respect they deserved when they returned and I’m glad we can be part of making it right during the 50th anniversary.”

The day was spent exchanging stories, taking pictures and discussing the upcoming season. Larry Edwards, Commander of VFW Post 3006 said, “I feel that it is only appropriate that it’s an Earnhardt that is bringing the Vietnam War 50th Commemoration to the forefront.” Rodger Feldbusch of the 4th Division commented, “It’s touches me to see the Vietnam veterans honored this way, this will mean a lot to so many people, thank you.” And finally a quote from Milton Williams, a veteran from the 82nd Airborne summarized his appreciation with words that so many Americans have been thinking over the years, “It’s about damn time.”

Milton, everyone on Jeffrey’s team and millions of grateful Americans share your thoughts and we’re honored to do our part to answer that call.

Jeffrey will be traveling throughout the country to pay tribute to America’s Vietnam Veterans and we sincerely appreciate your service to our great nation.
