Ready For Kansas

flexshot suit03 October 2014 - Kansas Speedway: Jeffrey Earnhardt will be piloting the JD Motorsports #4 Camaro this Saturday in the Kansas Lottery 300. With just 5 races remaining in the 2014 NASCAR Nationwide Series Season, Earnhardt sits 18th in points and an opportunity to move up in the rankings. "During the last few races we've had a mixed bag" said Jeffrey. "We had some issues with equipment and then in Richmond we were taken out with nowhere to go. Wrecks are part of racing so you take the bad with the good. In Kentucky we had a decent run and ended with a 16th finish. Our team is running on a tight budget at the moment so whenever we get a top 20 finish it's quite an accomplishment. The experience is good and I look forward to increasing our funding so we can get the engines & tools necessary to win races."

Kansas is a mile and a half track which proves challenging for the smaller teams but with good pits and smart driving the #4 team looks forward to a good day of racing. Television coverage begins at 3:30pm ET on ESPN.

Richmond Bound

qw

Richmond, VA. - Jeffrey Earnhardt entered the month of April with top 20 finishes in Texas and Darlington. Driver and team continue to make progress on and off the track and this weekends Toyota Care 250 at Richmond International Raceway is an opportunity to build on that momentum. "We're getting better each week and learning what things we need to do to maximize our performance" said Jeffrey. "The seat time has been very valuable and with the exception of getting clipped early in Bristol, we're having clean finishes and racing the best we can." Last year in Richmond Jeffrey made national news racing for his uncle at JR Motorsports. Spending much of that race with the front of the pack, Jeffrey looks forward to returning to Richmond.

"That opportunity was a lot of fun. We have a good car for this weekend and I'm ready to drive that #4 as fast as she can go." Jeffrey currently sits in 17th in NNS drivers points and this race certainly provides the opportunity to improve that position at the end of the day.

The Green Flag is scheduled to wave at 7:15pm EST with television coverage on ESPN News channel.

Looking ahead to Vegas

je fw1 2014Las Vegas, NV- Two races into the 2014 NASCAR Nationwide Series and Jeffrey sits 17th in points. Daytona was a clean race for Earnhardt but removal of the tandem draft left the smaller teams at a distinct disadvantage. Car & Driver ran to the best of their ability but the only answer to a higher place finish was more horsepower. The Daytona 500 victory by Jeffrey's uncle (Dale Jr.) was great motivation and everyone at JEI and JD Motorsports are doubling down to secure sponsorship to improve the program.

From there the team rolled on to Phoenix for some small track racing. Jeffrey drove the #4 Chevrolet Camaro to a clean 27th place finish before the race was called due to rain. "I'm happy to be out there competing and look forward to working with the team to increase our speed" said Earnhardt. "We need to increase our funding so we can get more competitive. I appreciate everything the guys are doing and look forward to Vegas."

Jeffrey's next race will be the Boyd Gaming 300 on Saturday, March 8th at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Earnhardt Looking to Finish Strong

August 2 2013 - Mooresville, NC -- Jeffrey Earnhardt has been working hard to increase his driving opportunities for 2013 and preparing for his next race on August 17th in the #79 Uponor-Wendy's Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption Ford Mustang. "Our guys are working on opportunities to get a few more races added to this years schedule and we've been looking at some exciting things for 2014. I'm looking forward to our next race with Uponor and Wendy-DTFA. Uponor brings their customers to the races and it's a great experience for everyone" said Jeffrey. "In Daytona we had a good race going before getting caught in someone else's wreck but we ran well. It's been fun working with the Wendy's -DTFA because we're giving a lot of special kids an opportunity to spend the day with our team and NASCAR & the tracks have been super with hospitality. In Mid Ohio we'll have a large number of kids coming to enjoy the race and spend time together. I'm fortunate to be able to be a part of this and I know the kids enjoy it too."

Next Race - NATIONWIDE CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL 200 August 17th, 2013 at Mid Ohio Sports Car Course

Headed to Daytona

28 June 2013 - Daytona, FL. Jeffrey Earnhardt is headed down to Daytona International Speedway to race in the NASCAR Nationwide Series Subway Firecracker 250 Powered By Coca-Cola on Friday, July 5th. He'll be driving the #79 Tobacco Free Florida - Wendy's Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption Ford Mustang and has some added excitement for this race. "We're always pumped to race Daytona and this race is extra special because we're bringing some VIP guests" said Earnhardt.

"The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption works hard to find families for children so we decided to meet the kids at the Florida United Methodist Childrens Home before the race and let them check out the car, sign some stuff for them and have a group join us as guests on race day. I think 45 kids will be with us at the track so we're looking forward to a fun time."

The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption was established by Wendy's founder Dave Thomas to help every child in foster care find a loving and permanent family.

"Working with the foundation is very satisfying. Bringing smiles to these kids and raising awareness to their need for a caring family is something I really enjoy and I look forward to spreading the message and racing for the kids."

Earnhardt to Race Talladega

Thomasville, NC (April 30, 2012) – Jeffrey Earnhardt will be making his NASCAR Nationwide Series Talladega debut this Saturday, May 5th in the Aaron’s 312. He’ll be driving the #15 FASTWAX.COM – POYNT Mustang for Rick Ware Racing in his 3rd trip to a super speedway synonymous with the Earnhardt name. “We ran trucks here the past two years and while we got caught by some wrecks, I feel comfortable on this track. It’s my first Nationwide race here and we’re expecting a great run” said Jeffrey.

Rick Ware sees the youngest Earnhardt driver coming into his own and is looking forward to this weekend’s race. “I’ve had the opportunity to watch Jeffrey develop over the past 2 years and you can see it’s only a matter of time before he’s winning races. His instincts are great and his confidence is supporting his ability” said team owner Ware.

While news of Jeffrey’s MMA debut has been the buzz, all of his focus is on Talladega. “I’ve been getting a lot of interest on my MMA fight (5/22 streaming live on www.jeimma.com) and that’s pretty cool but racing comes first and Talladega is special. We have a lot of friends in this area and I want to go out and give them something to cheer about” commented Earnhardt.

The race will be televised live on ABC at 3pm ET. Media inquiries to paul@jeffreyearnhardt.com

Jeffrey Earnhardt’s NNS Bristol Debut

14 March 2012 – Car & driver are ready and there are a lot of “firsts” happening at Bristol Motor Speedway on St. Patty’s day 2012.

The easiest way to explain is in a list:

First Nationwide Series race of 2012 for Jeffrey

First NNS race at Bristol Motor Speedway for Jeffrey

First time an Earnhardt has driven a FORD since Dale Earnhardt raced the #15 in 1983

First race Jeffrey & Dale Jr. compete together

It’s been a while since the name Earnhardt appeared twice on the drivers sheet and we’re excited for this weekends race. March 17th, 2012 ESPN 1pm.

Earnhardt Ready for Bristol

Thomasville, NC (March 6, 2012) – Bristol Motor Speedway has been the site of many firsts but for 4th generation NASCAR driver Jeffrey Earnhardt, March 17th 2012 will be significant. Earnhardt will be making his Bristol debut in the Sam’s Club #15 Ford Mustang for Rick Ware Racing at the location of his grandfathers first Cup victory back in 1979. It will also be the first time an Earnhardt drives a Ford since 1983 when Dale Earnhardt drove the #15 Ford for Bud Moore.

Looking forward to his first Nationwide race of the year Earnhardt said, "I’m excited to race Bristol. My family has quite a few wins there and I hope to continue that success. I look forward to driving hard for all the Sam’s Club members out there and will see them at the new Hendersonville club on the 21st.” Jeffrey will be attending the grand opening of the newest Sam’s Club in Hendersonville, TN on March 21st, 2012 to meet members and sign autographs.

“Racing is a sport that so many of our Members in Hendersonville follow closely, and we are honored to welcome a local favorite like Jeffrey Earnhardt to our club in celebration of the grand opening,” said Jeff Godbey, Sam’s Club manager. “We wish him the best of luck in Bristol and hope that the community will come by the club to meet him on March 21.”

Earnhardt is competing full time in the Rolex Grand Am series and he’s been securing sponsorship for multiple NASCAR Nationwide races in 2012. In addition to Sam’s Club, Jeffrey’s Mustang will be sponsored by a brand he’s been using for years. “It’s awesome to have MET-Rx on board. They’re the #1 name in sports nutrition and we look forward to promoting their products to NASCAR fans” commented Jeffrey.

Team owner Rick Ware said, “Our sponsors have been great partners and having Sam’s Club and MET-Rx on the #15 Ford Mustang for Jeffrey’s Bristol debut is a great way to start 2012.” The race will be televised on March 17, 2012 on ESPN at 1pm EST.
